This vintage offers dense currant, black cherry, cocoa and cassis, as well as toasty oak aromas. Full bodied with rich, soft tannins. The wine is well balanced with a long, lingering finish. This wine will age exceptionally well. A complex and multi-layered wine, displaying chocolate and spicy black cherry fruit, with tobacco, sage and mint. On the palate, intense ripe cassis, bergamot, vanilla and dry coca are interlaced with soft, supple tannins, leading to a long, lingering, integrated finish. Our 2002 offers rich aromas of blueberry, ripe raspberry and black currants, interlaced with coffee and creamy oak and anise. On the palate, a velvety mouth feel with a seductive core of ripe berries with hints of lavender and herbes de provence, leads to a long, elegant finish. The 2003 vintage is a classic example of pairing a winemaker's style with the mountain vineyard terrior. Dark ruby in color with a subtle spectrum of aromas of black fruits, dried Provence herbs, rich chocolate, and toasty French oak. The finish is long and focused. The wine certainly displays an elegant pedigree. Firm, but not hard on the palate, it will please now, yet age gracefully for many years, for those who are patient. Our 2004 vintage is an impressive addition to a twelve year legacy of producing elegant wines, which are truly expressive of our mountain terrior. Deep garnet in color, with rich aromas of black fruits, dark chocolate, anise and toasted French oak. Only 500 cases produced. Our 2005 Cabernet displays richness and opulence. It is packed with expressive black currant, ripe strawberry, anise and hints of smoky coffee. Polished tannins lead to a long and elegant finish. Quite approachable now, but will reward those who can wait a year or two.
